I have been quilting since 1999 and just love it. Besides the quilts I make for myself, I mainly make them as gifts for family and friends. I piece and quilt by machine and use all cotton fabrics. I like my quilts to be used, so they are all machine washable.
For my wedding quilts I try incorporating fabric and colours that the newlyweds like and they take around 3 to 6 months to complete.
I also love making crib sized quilts to celebrate the birth of a baby and love using bright colours of the rainbow. These can take up to 3 months.
